Zara Surti

Zara Surti is an independent filmmaker based in New York City. As a Film & TV and Journalism double major at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Zara specializes in the documentary medium and creates films which have the stories of minority groups at its core. With experience working on independent short films and writing articles at Vogue India and Washington Square News, Zara is passionate about crafting projects that foster empathy and connection.
